House Rules

The nitty gritty details that keep us all on the same page. Scroll down for membership policies.

  • Please reserve your space in class ahead of time to ensure you have a spot.

  • We understand that things come up, but we are saving your reformer just for you! If you are unable to attend your scheduled class, please log-on to your account and cancel your class NO LATER than 24-hours in advance or you will be charged a $15 late fee. No-showing/no-cancelling your class will result in a $25 fee. Please note that you will NOT lose your class credit on top of your fee; you will still have your class to use on another day!

  • If you no-show your class, we have no opportunity to fill your spot and you will be charged $25.

  • Cancellations for classes must be made online through your Walla account; we cannot accept verbal, written, emailed, or text cancellations. We do not offer refunds under these circumstances.

  • We don’t like charging fees just as much as you don’t like paying them! However, if we don’t have our late cancel policy, well-intentioned clients reserve spots and don't come. At Spring House Pilates we donate profits from our cancellation fees to local charities. This means even though you can’t make it to your class, you can feel better about giving back to our community. Plus, we think you'll find our studio give-back challenges super fun!

  • Please do not be late to class. This ensures that you have joined the class for the warm-up and that a late entrance is not hindering the experience of other class attendees.

  • Please be mindful of the level of class that you are signing up for; not every class is an ideal fit for every person. All new clients must start in 1.0 level classes to get experience on the reformers and learn the foundations. Many people consider 1.0 classes their favorite and stay at that level forever! At Spring House, level progression is not our goal; we use levels to help you know which classes meet your specific needs and goals. When in doubt, our instructors are happy to help you choose a class. Detailed descriptions of our class levels can be found on our Classes page.

  • Spring House Pilates will notify you via email with any class cancellations with as much notice as possible. We also trust that you will make the safest decision for yourself. If the studio closes due to weather you will not be charged cancellation fees for your missed class.

  • Please register your guests for 1.0 level classes if they have little or no Pilates equipment experience. If you register a guest for a 1.5 class they MUST have Pilates equipment experience, this is for the safety and fairness to all participants. The sponsoring member understands that their guest should be aware of the late cancellation and no-show policy; additionally a guest pass is considered redeemed upon late cancellation or no-show.

  • If you are on a waitlist and a spot opens you will be notified via email. The wailtist closes two hours prior to class, in which you will no longer be enrolled if a spot opens. If a spot opens under 2-hours before class, anyone is able to register for that spot, whether or not they were on the waitlist.

Monthly Class and Unlimited Class Pass Policies

  • Unlimited memberships may attend no more than one class per day. Special event pop-up classes and workshops are the only exception to this, in which you may sign up for both.

  • Memberships may be put on pause at any time with advanced written notice. Holds must be at least 10-days long. Pauses may only be requested in advance and cannot be retroctive.

  • One unused class may be rolled over to the next month if you remain an active member, please submit a written request for this. Rollovers are not retroactive and cannot accumulate.

  • If you reach your limit of monthly classes and would like to attend class before the next month our system will automatically offer you single classes for the membership rate of $25.

  • Memberships will auto-renew monthly on the date of the month that your membership originally started. (Example: If you started your membership on March 5th, your account will refresh on the 5th of every month)

  • Guest passes that are included in select membership plans expire the month they are dispersed to your account and do not roll-over or accumulate. Passes may only be used in 1.0 level classes if your guest has little or no experience on the reformer. Guests must pre-register for classes to reserve their spot. The sponsoring member understands that their guest should be aware of the late cancellation and no-show policy, additionally a guest pass is considered redeemed upon late cancellation or no-show.
